Bring a remote buyer into the property.

Start with a prepared listing, share the invitation, and guide the buyer through your media. Use live camera when you want to answer a question from the property itself.

Updated November 6, 2026. Based on Peekr 1.6.2.

Open the saved property

In Listing Studio · My listings, choose the property you want to present. Check its name, details and media. If you have not prepared it yet, create your saved listing first.

If a walkthrough review is open, apply the reviewed plan or close the review before starting. Saving a review draft keeps the draft; it does not apply that order to the showing.

Start Showing from the listing

Tap Start Showing on the saved listing. Peekr carries the listing’s details, photos and playlist into the session. Starting a photo showing does not spend a live-camera preview.

The home screen’s Start a Showing is useful for a spontaneous session. For a property you have already prepared, start from its saved listing so you bring that preparation with you.

Invite your buyers

Use Invite buyers to share the full invitation link, or let buyers scan the showing QR code. A buyer can also visit getpeekr.com and enter the code or paste the full Peekr invitation.

The buyer supplies a name and either a phone number or an email address so you can follow up. After joining, they wait for you to begin presenting. Use a second device or browser if you want to check the buyer experience before your appointment.

Both older getpeekr.com invitations and newer show.getpeekr.com invitations are supported. Send the complete invitation rather than changing its domain by hand.

Guide the media at your pace

Use the saved Walkthrough playlist to select an item, then move through the presentation with Previous and Next. PDFs advance through their pages. Buyers follow your selected media, while your private talking points stay with you.

Preview a recorded clip yourself before presenting it. Uploading and host rehearsal do not spend a recorded-video showing credit. For an eligible free preview, one recorded-video showing counts when a buyer opens playback; retries and additional buyers in that same showing do not spend another credit.

For an impromptu photo sequence, the host controls also include Share a Photo and Guided Walkthrough.

Go live when a buyer needs a closer look

At the property, tap Go Live and allow camera and microphone access when requested. Keep a stable connection and remain in the app while presenting.

An eligible App Store download includes two live-camera showings. A live preview counts when the camera is published and a buyer connects. It is separate from the two recorded-video showing previews. After the relevant allowance is used, Peekr presents the available subscription options.

End the showing and follow up

Use the host controls to end the session when you have finished. Review the buyer enquiries available in Peekr and follow up with the questions raised during the showing.

If a buyer cannot connect, first check that you are both online and that they opened the latest complete invitation. If camera access was declined, enable it in iPhone Settings before trying live video again. For unresolved problems, contact Peekr support with the app version and the step that failed.

Questions before you begin

Does a buyer need an iPhone?

Will opening a showing use a live preview?

Starting a photo showing does not use a live-camera preview. It counts when the camera is published and a buyer connects.

Are the host’s talking points visible to buyers?

No. Talking points are private to the host. Buyers follow the media that the host presents.
